Care & Compassion Group (CCG)

There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your brothers and toward the poor and needy in your land (Deuteronomy 15:11).

We have set up the Care & Compassion Group (CCG) to help those who are struggling and need help during certain periods in their lives. So far we have given out weekly food parcels; decorated and furnished homes; put gas/electric in homes that have needed it; clothed children & adults; sorted out private business issues that some families have found themselves in, liaising and mediating with companies that have made demands; and given financial aid when necessary. Each Christmas we give out hampers too.

How do we do it? We collect donations of clothes, furniture, books, ornaments, etc, from those wishing to give to CCG and then sell them at car boot sales, CFM's ebay and to local people. Also, if an item is given that a family needs, we then just give it away to them.
